Dr. Moore grew up in the Florida Panhandle and attended medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Florida Jacksonville Campus, followed by additional fellowship training in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

Prior to earning his medical degree, Dr. Moore spent eight years serving in the Army National Guard, including a year overseas in Afghanistan supporting convoy security operations.
Dr. Moore’s philosophy of care is simple: treat people the way he would want to be treated. He understands how scary it can be to receive a diagnosis you don’t fully understand.
Uncertainty can create fear-especially when your health or life may be at risk.

He takes extra time to educate patients about their diagnosis before developing a treatment plan. By understanding their condition, patients are empowered to choose a treatment path they feel confident and comfortable with.

Prior to becoming a Physician Associate, Julie spent more than a decade working closely with individuals living with TBI. Her experience includes developing behavior support plans, coordinating complex care services, and serving as Director of a nonprofit organization that provided comprehensive supportive services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries. This background gives her a deep understanding of the medical, emotional, and practical challenges patients face throughout recovery.

Julie earned her Physician Associate degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Jacksonville campus in 2023 and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. She has pursued advanced training in headache management, including certification in Botox injections, occipital nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, recognizing that headaches are among the most common and disruptive symptoms following concussion.

Julie’s approach to care emphasizes attentive listening, clear education, and collaborative decision-making. She works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans and is committed to helping them access effective therapies and local resources, empowering each patient to take an active role in their recovery and long-term health.

Vanessa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toledo and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. She has experience working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of communication and cognitive challenges, including aphasia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), executive functioning deficits, memory and attention impairments, expressive and receptive language disorders, pragmatic and social communication challenges, fluency disorders, and higher-level language difficulties.

Her clinical approach emphasizes individualized, evidence-based therapy that is meaningful and directly applicable to real-life demands. Vanessa focuses on strengthening functional communication and cognitive-linguistic skills through strategy development, problem-solving, organization, self-monitoring, and compensatory techniques.
Vanessa believes therapy is most effective when patients understand the purpose behind their care. She prioritizes education and collaboration, clearly connecting therapy goals and strategies to daily communication, academic, and vocational needs to support carryover beyond the therapy setting.

Vanessa is a Dementia Practitioner and is certified in the Allen Cognitive Assessment, allowing her to provide person-centered care for individuals experiencing cognitive decline while supporting functional safety and independence. She is known for her organized, adaptable, and compassionate approach and is committed to helping patients build confidence and achieve meaningful, lasting progress.
